Yep, we’re dyeing a bunch of stuff. I bought these dyes, see photo, for $50. That’s about $3/kid, and the labels say we can dye over 100 items – or 5-6 things per kid. I also have a tub of rubber bands and some popsicle sticks. Here’s a tutorial with 17 tie-dye patterns. Read up on how to tie-dye, if you’d like. Bring a 5-gallon bucket (to rinse + to transport your items home) and some things to dye.
Side project: This batik-style, glue-based tutorial uses acrylics to make a wall hanging.
When we’re finished here, the kids will become animals – I mean, more than usual. Animal play was requested, so interpret as you will. Some will likely dress as animals while others will bring stuffies. Either way.

We will continue to share a table of games, puzzles and/or crafting materials. Bring whatever calming materials your kids enjoy + can share. We will also continue with the quiet room, which can be used for board games.
