Time to build your dream world, shoe-box sized. Please bring the items you’ll need to craft a mini-world of your (or your kid’s) choosing. Bring a few items to share — paper, scissors, glue, tape, and then whatever your fam finds inspiring. We normally use a lot of natural ingredients, like feathers, rocks, shells, and end up with a little space that houses some figurines the kids like. But not always! Some people make a room-sized diorama to house their hobby train, or to re-enact a movie or a civil war battle scene – feel free to branch out! If you haven’t done this before, here’s a simple guide for a desert diorama. And here’s a Pinterest list of kid-friendly ideas, in case you hit a wall.

I have a four extra boxes, in case you’re out, and some air-dry clay to share. If anyone has a tablecloth/dropcloth/tarp we can use to capture paint and glue, please bring it. The weather looks nice enough to potentially do this outside; if it’s not windy, let’s try!

Games + Activities Table
We will continue to share a table of games, puzzles and/or crafting materials. Bring whatever calming materials your kids enjoy + can share.

This week, please bring:
Shoeboxes + diorama “ingredients” – paper, clay, figurines, nature bits, etc.

Lunch + snacks for your people
A game, craft or puzzle to share
