We’re meeting 1:30pm at Little Park (21763 Miller Ln, Idledale, CO 80453). We’ll be meeting at this park for all of October. If anyone would like to join Wilder for some river fishing, he’d love company! He’s bringing a fly rod + gear. There are many tucked-away water play spaces + fishing holes, and we’ll plan to hike the 1/2-mile up to Lair o’ the Bear to climb trees as well.
Let’s meet near the parking lot. There’s not a lot of space here to get disconnected, but there is a fun old stone building to play in while you wait. If you’re pretty late, find us! We’ll head southwest down the only trail (it heads along the creek toward Lair o’ the Bear), stopping to explore the little inlets along the way.

Outdoor clothing
Fishing gear, if you’re into that or would like to try with a buddy
Sunscreen, snacks + drinks for your people

It seems easiest if we use a single park for each month, rather than bouncing around. I am going to spread us out northeast and southwest, then centrally again. My goal is water nearby + a nature play area, whatever else we find is extra. To suggest an alternate park, if you wish, please email me!

In November, we’ll be meeting at Prospect Park (W 44th Avenue and Robb Street, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033). It’s creekside, with multiple playgrounds, sports fields, pickle ball + fishing lakes.
