Build a terrarium out of whatever materials you + your kid love. These can go like an indoor fairy garden, or they can harbor live plants, or a thousand things between. Mason jar terrariums. If you have all the tweezers, a spice jar terrarium. The dream terrarium (life goal).

Bring a jar to use + some materials. We’ll share out some staples on tables and build these together. These can be pretty messy, so let’s set up outside this week.

I can’t think of what else goes with terrariums, but maybe we can learn to play foursquare this week and set up a chalk court. If anyone has other ideas, bring them!

This week, please bring:
Glass jar + special ingredients you need to build a terrarium
Sunscreen, snacks + drinks for your people
Maldanado family – It’s your turn to bring a game/activity to play in the morning!

  1. Hi,

I recently subscribed to the newsletter. Where are you guys meeting on Monday? How much is it to join? Are you accepting new members?

    Thank you,

    1. Hi, Cady. We don’t disclose the Monday location until you’re approved to join. And yes, we are currently full. Sorry.

Our Thursday crew is expanding, however, and you’re welcome to meet us outdoors first. Or I have a list of interested families waiting for space in the Monday group, if you’d prefer to be on that. Thursdays is $20/family and Mondays is $130/family (much higher because we rent a space).

Let me know what you decide!

      1. Hi Christine,

Thanks for getting back to me. So the fees are monthly or yearly? How would I apply for the Monday group? I’m open to the Thursday group as well but curious how long the Monday waitlist will be. I have another homeschool friend/family who is also interested in joining. Can I send her the application info or would you prefer she contact you separately?

      2. Sorry, I didn’t see this… My apologies.

Fees are by semester, so paid twice each year. Below I attached the link to our drop-in form. If you fill that out, I’ll be in touch by email instead of this comment system that clearly isn’t working for me. We normally like to meet you first, if that’s okay, and make sure it’s a good fit for all of us. I do have some space in December for a drop-in visit if you’re still interested. We also have one family dropping out in January, so there will be an open space. And you may forward this to your friend as well.
