Sugary experiment week! The experiments are broken up by family, so we can take turns being in charge. Your kids can also lead, if they’d like. I added a link to each experiment for a quick reference point, but you don’t need to stick to that.

We’ll go through the list in this order:
(1) mentos + soda – Kirra + Cloe
(2) rock candy – Nicole + Monica
(3) skittles rainbow – Zena
(4) strawberry dna extraction – Christine + Becky
(5) floating Ms (from m&ms) – Jennifer
(6) edible engineering (+ more ideas) – Leah + Alison

Please coordinate with your co-conspirator, if there is one, to bring supplies for the experiment you were assigned. Bring enough supplies to complete the experiment several times or for each child to participate (we can also pair them up).

I will bring some “prizes” for the engineering winners. The kids can vote on the best structure, the tallest structure, et cetera.

This week, please bring:
Your experiment supplies!
Glass jar for each child in your family (if they want to make rock candy)
Sunscreen, snacks + drinks for your people
North family – It’s your turn to bring a game/activity to play in the morning!
