Friday, March 10 @ 10am – Who’s in for an old-time experience? We’re signed up for the Journey to Jeffco program at Hiwan Museum, where we’ll be learning about the westward movement by packing a prairie schooner, making journey cake, learning in an 1876 schoolhouse, and shopping in the 1895 Bear Creek Mercantile. This is a fun experience for kids and adults!

The program will wrap by 12 noon with a journey cake that the kids made previously. We normally bring a lunch to eat outdoors on their beautiful lawn, which is also a park (no playground tho) and has nice bathrooms too.

For this initial push, I do have to confirm numbers with them by March 1. Payment is $2 per person, regardless of age, and we can pay onsite (info below). Please let me know via text at 303-nine four nine-7517, or by commenting below, how many people will attend with us, adults + kids.

Again, you do not need to be a part of the Wildlings group to attend field trips. We do ask that you are a homeschooling family with kids in the 5-13 range.
