Quick science experiment check-in when we arrive. If your kids did a milk plastic toy or want to see how the peeps dissolved, take a peek in the kitchen!
Circle at 10:30am with Monica, just after our opening game/activity, to introduce the day’s theme + schedule. We’re practicing this opening for our group every week, but it is not required. This week, let’s talk about asking before we touch things that aren’t ours.
Unfortunately, we were late ordering owl pellets + the delivery is currently slated for Monday. Hoping they arrive early… but I will send a group text if they aren’t here first thing Monday. I can run home to grab them if they’re delivered during our session.
Assuming they come, we’ll set up our dissection tables + get started on this activity right after our circle. Those who ordered owl pellets via text can bring out a chair + get started! We’ll use paper plates + the tiny tools provided to figure out what prey our owls ate. If others have more animals to dissect, your kids want to watch or take part. Please be clear about what materials can be shared + what is “eyes only.”
For next week, let’s plan an attack route for rocks, concrete + spray paint.

This week, it’s all optional! Please bring:
Emming Family – It’s your turn to bring a game/activity for everyone to play in the morning!
Plastic gloves, if you’re dissecting anything
Whatever else your kids want to do today!
Lunch, snacks + drinks for your people
