Our donut stand morphed, as these ideas usually do. We ended up with a crowd of stop-motion characters, including evil doers + their cats, an angry mother + a colorful, real-life poop emoji. This week we explored fizzing sidewalk chalk – including throwable “bomb” sponges – with lots of vinegar spray. We left a pretty colorful sidewalk behind us. Also popular: board games! We learned several new ones (thanks, Jessica!) + enjoyed popsicles outdoors, multiple times. We’re thinking popsicles need to return every week.
Slime science turned out to be a favorite. And if your slime falls in the dirt, put your feet in it! Next time: more shaving cream.
Thanks to all who participated in our sprinkler + squirt gun fight. Drippy fun was had by all, especially the bystanders.
Picture from before the snow wrecked our picnic habit. Our loose-knit “schedule” normally includes lots of out-of-house activity, so we blast into schooly activities right away. But now we are home constantly, AND have George at home, checking in, telling us to be quiet when he has conference calls. No running to the craft store …
