August 2: Teen Backpacking Trip #2

Medium-level backpacking for ages 12+ at Golden Gate Canyon. This is a one-night, intro trip for older kids who haven’t backpacked too much but want to try it. We’ll be gone 24 hours total. Everyone carries their own gear, including tents, sleeping bags, clothing, food + water. We have 2 campsites reserved, so everyone can spread out as much as desired within sightlines/hearing.

9605 S. Perry Park Road, Larkspur, CO 80118. This is a relatively new park + I’ve had great luck coming here without crowds. It’s lovely + the parking lot is huge!

May 21: Beginner Teen Backpacking Trip

Beginner backpacking for ages 12+ at White Ranch. This is a one-night, intro trip for older kids who haven’t backpacked much (or at all) but want to try it. We’ll be gone 24 hours in total. Everyone carries their own gear, including tents, sleeping bags, clothing, food + water.
