It’s slime time! Let’s provide materials for the kids to make their own slime – outside, of course! – and play with it. We’ll have a mixing table and a play table, where they can stand or bring a chair for outdoor seating. If you have “tools” your kids enjoy for this type of play, please bring them. Otherwise, bring some school glue (colored and clear work too) and mix-ins (glitter! styrofoam balls! food coloring!). We can share bowls + measuring stuff, if needed. And maybe don’t wear your new white shirt while everyone’s handling food coloring?

Basic recipes that the kids can easily mess with: slime one and slime two. My kids love the shaving cream addition, even though it doesn’t last. I also found this cool slime-saver post for “rescuing” slime mixes gone awry.

Don’t have time to gather supplies? Text me or comment below. I’ll take $5 per family for whoever wants to share glue, shaving cream, food coloring and contact solution. I have to go to the craft store anyway….

10 am – Free play / Rooms set for the day + indoor game table set up
11 am – Slime brewing stations set up + activated
12 pm – Lunch outside in the shade!
1 pm – Free play
2:30 pm – Clean up, then outside play
3 pm – End of our rental period

New Space, New Rules
Because we’re testing a new space this week, we’ll have to flex a bit. I’m hoping this building will facilitate more + easier indoor/outdoor transitions – I’m aiming for 50% outdoor play. There’s a big playground with a half basketball court and winding, scooter-friendly sidewalks just next door. Pretty sure my kids will bring scooters and/or skateboards. And yes, I will email/text the new address in Arvada – don’t want to post it!

Games + Activities Table
We will continue to share a table filled with games, puzzles and/or crafting materials. Bring whatever calming materials your kids enjoy + can share.

This week, please bring:
A blanket for ourdoors – we’ll try to eat outside this week
Slime-centered stuff: glue, mix-ins + colors your people like, tools,
fave recipe, random ingredients, slime-friendly clothing
Lunch + snacks for your people
A game, craft or puzzle to share
