This week, we’re celebrating St. Patty’s Day! Try to dress in green. No pinching, please. To start, Amber’s creating a treasure hunt, leprechaun style, with a pot o’ gold at the end!
Bring a few potatoes for stamping + to mash up for our Irish lunch. We’ll prep some main tables for our shared food. Nicole’s bringing paper for table coverings, and everyone can carve potato stamps to decorate it. I’ll organize a few batches of soda bread baking, so it’ll be ready by lunch + we’ll have LOTS. If someone wants to bring cream, a marble + a jar, we can also shake up some green butter for our bread through the morning.
Baby Photo Guessing Game – While our lunch cooks, we’ll hold a guessing game to see who can match the most photos to their people. Please bring a printed photo of yourself + your progeny as babies, if you wish to play.
After lunch, Monica’s bringing Irish Kubb for everyone to play again + we’ll try to set up a Celtic dance as well. Free play + games allllllll afternoon!
P.S. – I’ve requested a fire truck visit next week, but I had to give them two dates. If that doesn’t work for them next week, we’ll might need to switch activities. Lmk if that doesn’t work for you.
This week, please bring:
Terneus Family – It’s your turn to bring a game/activity for everyone to play in the morning!
